History:
The Pioneer graves are typically located in the far South East side of cemetery. Many of these graves are not marked. Per Cristy with Washington City offices (5/23/03), there was a flood in area @ 1900 and it removed/damaged many markers. The City will have most names, but not the locations in the older areas.
Washington City added a "new"section to the cemetery in the early part of 2008. It is located on the NE corner of 300 E & 300 N. see photo 4 on main cemetery page. New section was photographed and transcribed for an eagle scout project by Alex Head, members of troop 632 and other friends & participants during September & October 2012.
