ST. GEORGE, UTAH-Daniel Lawrence Warkentin, 90 years old, passed away peacefully at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah.
He was born on January 6, 1918 in Medora, Kansas. He lived in Buhler, Kansas until he went into the Army in 1941 leaving in 1945. Daniel was married to Laura Alice Simpsom Warkentin on February 21,1947 she passed away on April 25, 1989, he then married Ida Mary Chipman Warkentin in February 1990, she passed away August 24, 2000.
Daniel is survived by; John (Diana) Warkentin of Plain City, Utah, William (Louise) Warkentin of Roy, Utah, Barbara Dudynsky of Ivins, Utah, Shirley Evans of Layton, Utah. Also 7 Granchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Graveside Service is being held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ivins City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
